Father,

Let me love you with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my might.

Let me charge my heart with these instructions today.

Let me impress this love upon my children.

Let me express this love when I am at home and when I am away,
when I lie down and when I get up. ..

Let this instruction be bound as a sign on my hand
and let them serve as a symbol on my forehead;

Let this be inscribed on the doorposts of my house and on my gates.
