Majjhima Nikaya's Prayer

Lord,
Let me behold myself purified of all unskilled states,
Let me behold myself freed.
When I behold myself freed, delight is born…
Being joyful, the mind is concentrated.

I dwell suffusing one direction with a mind of loving-kindness,
Likewise the second direction, likewise the third, likewise the forth:
Just so, above, bellow, around.
I dwell having suffused the world everywhere with a mind of loving-kindness,
That is far-reaching, widespread, immeasurable.
